From March 5 to 14, SPE Week took place at Gubkin University.

SPE Week has been heldat Gubkin University for the second year and representeda project within which events are organized every day during a week, visits are available to anyone.

On March 5, the Open Doors Day took place, at which all the guests learned what SPE is, what it does and whatparticularly Gubkin Universitychapter represents.

On March 6, the SPE Fair was held atthe RU-Energy Hall. It was also possible to get acquainted with the activities of the Chapter andget registered. Moreover, students could take part in various competitions, prepared by the committees of the Chapter, and win some gifts.

On March 7, Alexei Vikhrovheldtraining on development of public speaking skills. The participants learnedhow to behave in public and denouncecorrectly their ideas to the public.

On March 12, Anton Vidineev gave a lecture on topic «Operation of ESP wells. REDA Schlumberger pumps».

On March 13 the economic game «Oil Formula» was held. In the course of the game, the participants mastered the main technological processes of oil refining and formed a basic idea about the management of the refinery.

On March 14, another lecture of the course on geological exploration from Schlumberger was given.
