As part of SPE INSIDE project, on September 21, this academic year’s first excursion to the Neft (Oil) Exhibition Pavilion of VDNH was conducted. The pavilion was renovated by PJSC LUKOIL. The event was attended by 20 SPE activists.

With the help of interactive programmes, they learnt more about oil and gas industry, and its history in particular. The pavilion’s halls are divided according to their themes, such as Development and Drilling, Chemistry and Ecology, Geology, History, Humans and Oil. The activists had an opportunity to try themselves as well-borers performing different drilling tasks in various weather conditions on a training simulator. In addition, they found out more about production methods and difficulties faced underway.
