A group of five students from Gubkin University took part in the Annual Caspian Petrocongress, organized at the Satpayev Kazakh National Research Technical University in Almaty, Kazakhstan (ACPC 2019 ) from April 18 to April 21, 2019. The purpose of the trip was to represent the University in the framework of an intellectual game on oil and gas topics PETROBOWL REGIONAL QUALIFIER.

Program of event included the opening ceremony, where students with traditional dances and songs, congress sponsors and leaders of the SPE KNTU chapter performed. After that, the team went to a lecture held by Darcy Spady, President of SPE 2018. Within the framework of the congress the game Petrobowl took place. The team of the Gubkin University took third place in the team event.
