October 18, at the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas was given a lecture from the leading specialist of Lukoil-Engineering LLC, Veronika S. Korepanova, on the topic “SPE as a source of advanced training in the oil and gas business”.

During the event, Veronika Sergeyevna spoke briefly about her responsibilities in the company, about her work as chairman of the SPE Young Professionals and how the Society of Petroleum Engineers can help university graduates to develop in their industry. The conversation was built on interactive communication, so as students were able to talk about what SPE could give them and what perspectives they see, developing further in this direction. The lecture materials presented 10 main aspects that make it possible to achieve successful career growth, for example, attending monthly scientific and technical meetings, where SPE members can get absolutely free of charge, where in the future they can play the role of speaker, writing scientific work and much more.
