On Monday, 20th of May, as part of the SPE INSIDE project, this year’s final tour took place. This time the students visited the Schlumberger Moscow Research Center. 

Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Leading Researcher at the Schlumberger Moscow Research Center (SMR), Pavel Spesivtsev, gave an introductory presentation in the form of a dialogue with the participants of the event, drawing attention to the main problems in the industry, as well as discussing the latest oil and gas industry news. Then the students were given a tour around the laboratories of the center. Researcher, Dmitry Korobkov, presented the development of the center, thanks to which a core sample is scanned and its digital model is created, and also answered all the questions of interest regarding the work in the center and the internships.
