During the event the lecturer told about operations of his company, current state of industrial safety and its problems showing us catastrophes and accidents, then he spoke about all measures necessary for eliminating those problems.
Interactive part of the lecture has taken the most time. Students were asked questions and took part in exercises aiming to increase their attentiveness and improve their ability to identify possible risks and dangers. There were also videos about the team working on the Sakhalin demi-island. Leo had been a part of that team for 5 years. Video materials on psychology and safety in the field of aircraft manufacturing were also presented. The event was visited by about 30 students. They were also asking questions they were interested in after the lecture.
Eventually, students have learned a lot of new things inthe field of industrial safety, as well as learned new exercises useful to become more attentive, and they also learned about unique drilling rig — the Krechet
