Annual reporting meeting of Gubkin University SPE Student Chapter has been held

On May 22, activists of Gubkin University SPE Student Chapter reported on the work done during 2017/2018 academic year and presented plans for the next one.



The meeting was held by Eleonora Belova, the President of the Chapter. Welcome speech of Vladimir Nikolayevich Koshelev, Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, opened the event. After that, the Heads of the Committees reported on results of the projects which had been realized last year, and defined perspectives of their development. Vice-Oresident for Internal Relations Polina Letkova gave a statistics of the forum “New Generation: Across the Universe” and of the congress “Oil and Gas Horizons”. Also she announced that both events will be held again next year. Lesana Kurbonshoeva, Vice-President for External Relations, presented “Future Leaders Forum” which is going to take place in Saint Petersburg from 23 to 29 June 2019. Main organizers of the forum will be Gubkin activists.



Then, Vice-Rector for International Affairs, Alexander Fyodorovich Maksimenko, head of the department for work with foreign students, Alexey Nikolayevich Bokov, director of the Center for Youth Initiatives, Lydia Ermolaeva, associate professor of the Department of Development and Operation of Gas and Gas-condensate Fields, Maria Nikolaevna Haydina, and curator of educational projects of the Moscow Office of SPE, Ilya Novikov, gave some farewell words for the next year.



Finally, activists of Gubkin University SPE Student Chapter were awarded for their contribution to the Chapter’s development.
